This article will show you how to recover a disabled Facebook account. If you have disabled your Facebook account yourself, please activate it by logging in. If your account has been disabled by the Facebook administration, send a request to activate your account; depending on the reason for the disconnection, your account will or will not be restored. A deleted account cannot be recovered.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: How to Recover the Account You Disabled

1. 1 Make sure the account can be restored. If you've temporarily disabled your account, please re-enable it at any time. But if you added an account to the list for deletion, restore the account within 14 days from the date it was added to the list.
   • If you added an account to the deletion list more than 14 days ago, it was deleted and cannot be restored. In this case, create a new Facebook account.
2. 2 Open the Facebook site. Go to https://www.facebook.com/. The Facebook home page will open.
3. 3 Enter your email address or phone number. Do this in the Email or Phone text box at the top right of the page.
4. 4 Enter password. Enter the password you use to sign in to Facebook in the Password text box to the right of the line with your email address (or phone number).
5. 5 Click on To come in. It's in the upper-right side of the page. This will log you into your account (if it still exists).
6. 6 Click on Cancel deletionif prompted. If you've added your account to the deletion list, click Cancel Deletion to sign in to your account. You can now use your Facebook account as before.

Method 2 of 2: How to submit an account activation request

1. 1 Make sure your Facebook account is disabled. Go to Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/, enter your email address and password, and then click Sign In. If you see the message "Account is disabled", your account has been blocked by the Facebook administration. In this case, submit a request to activate your account.
   • If you are logged into your account, it is not disabled.
2. 2 Open the "My personal Facebook account has been disabled" page. Go to https://www.facebook.com/help/www/103873106370583/. Do it on your computer.
3. 3 Click on appeal this decision. This link is on the line "If you think your account was disabled by mistake, you can." The application form will open.
   • If a page opens asking you to sign out of your account, restart your browser. You may need to delete browser cookies.
4. 4 Enter your email address or phone number. Enter the email address or phone number you use to sign in to Facebook in the Email or Phone field at the top of the page.
   • This should be an email address or phone number that you have access to.
5. 5 Enter your username. Enter the name you use for your Facebook account in the Name field.
   • This name may be different from your real name.
6. 6 Upload an image of your identity document. This can be a driver's license, student ID, or passport. For this:
   • take pictures of the front and back sides of the document and copy them to the computer;
   • click "Browse";
   • select images;
   • click "Open".
7. 7 Add information to your request. In the Additional Information box at the bottom of the page, enter any additional information that you think should be communicated to Facebook. Inform Facebook:
   • if your real name is different from your Facebook username;
   • if you think your account has been hacked;
   • if you have evidence that another user is responsible for any inappropriate activity on your account;
   • if you think the person stalking you is responsible for the actions that led to your account being disabled.
8. 8 Click on send. This button is on the lower right side of the application. The application will be sent to the Facebook administration. If the administration activates your account, it will inform you about it.

Tips

• If you deactivate your Facebook account and do not set a date when the account will automatically turn on, it may remain deactivated indefinitely (as long as you do not sign in to the account).
• If you are unable to sign in to your account because you forgot your password, reset it.

Warnings

• There is no guaranteed way to recover an account disabled by Facebook. We recommend that you apply for account activation - in this case, Facebook will at least verify your account.
