This is an article that shows you how to delete the Windows validity message that is often seen when using an unregistered copy of Windows. The easiest (and most legal) way to do this is to activate Windows in the Settings section, but you can use some temporary countermeasures (if needed).

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Activate Windows

1.

   and click Restart in the selection list. Thus, your computer will shut down and then reboot.

Method 3 of 3: Disable Genuine Advantage on Windows 7

1. 

   Click the Windows logo in the lower left corner of the screen.

   Click the search bar at the bottom of the window Start.

3. 

   Type task manager to search for the Task Manager application on the computer.

4. 

   Click Task Manager at the top of the window Start.

5. 

   Open the Run window by pressing the key ⊞ Win+R same time.
   • If this doesn't work, you need to reopen it Start, type trembling and click Tremor.

   Type system32. Folder system32 Usually contains many important computer files.

   Click OK at the bottom of the Run window to open the system 32 folder.

   Turn on file view and hidden file extensions in the following way:
   • Click the card View (See).
   • Check the box "Hidden items".
   • Check the box "File name extensions".

   Find the file "WgaLogon.dll". The easiest way to do this is typing wga Go to the search bar in the upper-right corner of the window and wait for the "WgaLogon.dll" file to show up.

    Rename the file "WgaLogon.dll". Right-click the file, then choose Rename (Rename) and type .bak at the end of the file name and the extension, and then press ↵ Enter.
    • Now that file is named "WgaLogon.dll.bak"
    • You may be asked to confirm this option. If so, click Yes or OK.

    Make a blank copy of the "WgaLogon.dll" file in the following way:
    • Right-click on an empty space in the system32 window.
    • Choose new (New).
    • Click Text Document.
    • Type WgaLogon to name the file.
    • Instead .txt equal .dll.
    • Press ↵ Enter, then click Yes when requested.

12. 

    Find the file "WgaTray.exe" in the system32 and Task Manager folders. Since both files need to be deleted within 5 seconds, you must find them now. The operation is as follows:
    • system32 - You will see "WgaTray.exe" in the window if "wga" is still entered in the search bar.
    • Task Manager Click the card ProcessesScroll down until you see "WgaTray.exe" and click.

13. 

    Delete both "WgaTray.exe" files. Select the file "WgaTray.exe" in system32 and press the key Del, then switch to Task Manager and click End process (End of process) or End task (End mission) in the bottom-right corner of the window.

14. 

    Restart the computer when the operation is completed. After the computer restarts, your Genuine Advantage message will no longer be displayed.
    • You may have to repeat this process at some point as the Genuine Advantage message usually reappears after the computer is updated.

Advice

• You can extend the Windows 7 free trial up to 3 times by opening the Command Prompt and entering the code: slmgr.vbs / rearm
• You still receive important updates (like security updates) when using an unregistered version of Windows.
• Windows Genuine Advantage before Windows 2000 is not installed.

Warning

• Using pirated versions of Windows is illegal in some regions.
• This process only turns off notifications are not activate your copy of Windows.
• If you make corrections to the wrong file, you may freeze your computer.
