This wikiHow teaches you how to download Instagram videos to your Android device. You can use the free app on the Google Play Store to download videos from a public account; However, there is no way to get videos that belong to a private Instagram account, even if you and they follow each other.

Method 1 of 2: By Video Downloader

1. 

   Play Store.
2. Click the search bar.
3. Import video downloader for instagram.
4. Click Video Downloader - for Instagram Repost App from the drop-down results menu.
5. Click INSTALL (Settings), then press ACCEPT (Accept) when prompted.

   Google Chrome. Press the Android Home button to minimize Instagram, then tap the Chrome app with the red, yellow, blue, and green globe icons.

   Visit the SaveFromWeb page. Import savefromweb.com and press the "Enter" or "Search" button.

    Click on the "Paste Instagram Video" text box. This box is in the middle of the page. The Android keyboard will pop up.

    Hold down on a text frame. The menu bar will pop up shortly after.

    Click on the option PASTE is in the menu bar. The copied Instagram link will appear in the text box.

    Click on the option Download (Download) is to the right of the text box. The video opens in the preview window.

    Download videos. Click on the icon ⋮ in the lower-right corner of the video preview that SaveFromWeb shows, then select Download from the drop-down menu that appears. The Android Chrome browser will download a copy of the video to the "Download" folder on your device.

    Find videos on Android devices. After downloading the video to Android, you can search in the following ways:
    • Photos application Click on the Photos app icon, click on the card Albums and choose the album Downloads. The downloaded video will be here. If you use another separate Photos app (for example, the Samsung Gallery app), the video might be in the app Videos.
    • File manager Open a frequently used file manager (for example, ES File Explorer), choose the default Android memory (such as SD card), click on the folder Download and find the video icon you just downloaded.
    • Notification - Swipe down from the top of the screen then tap the "Download complete" message.

• Normally, we cannot load Instagram ads as videos.
