This article shows you how to add movies to iPad. You can do this by buying movies directly on iTunes in iPad, using iTunes in your computer to import existing movies, or downloading movies available on iCloud Drive.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Buy on iTunes

1. 

   (Download to view). The button is below the movie title. Then the video will decompress.

2. 

   Click the "Share" icon. An icon with an arrow is in the lower left corner of the screen.

   Click Save Video (Save video). Options are near the bottom of the screen. Click to order the movie to be downloaded into the iPad's Photos app.

   Open Photos on iPad. The application is white with a multicolored pinwheel above.

   Click Camera Roll (Camera Roll). Options are located in the upper left of the screen. Your movie will be the most recent item in this one.
   • You may first have to click Albums (Photo Album) in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Advice

• You can use any cloud service with an iOS app attached (for example, Google Drive or Dropbox) to download and watch movies.

Warning

• Movie files take up quite a large amount of space on the iPad. You should make sure that your iPad or iCloud Drive has enough space before adding movies.
