This article will guide you on how to add photos to posts and comments on Facebook.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Create new post with a photo

1. 

   Open Facebook. If you're using a mobile device, it's a blue icon with a white "F" on the screen (iPhone or iPad) or in the app drawer (Android). For a computer, visit https://www.facebook.com and sign in with your username and password.

   Click or click What are you thinking? (What's on your mind?).
   • If you are posting on someone else's site, click or tap Write something (name of friend) (Write something to ...) near the top of the page.

   Click or click Photo / Video (Photo / Video). This item is just below the text box.

4. 

   Choose a photo.
   • On your smartphone (smartphone) or tablet: Tap the photo you want to add, then tap Accomplished (Done) in the top right corner of the screen. To select more photos, tap the photos you want to post.
   • On a computer: Click the photo you want to add, then press the button Open (Open) in the lower right corner of the window. To select multiple images, press and hold the button Ctrl (Windows) or ⌘ Command (Mac) when clicked.

Method 2 of 3: Add a photo to a comment

1. 

   Open Facebook. If you have a mobile device, it's a blue icon with a white "F" on the screen (iPhone or iPad) or in the app drawer (Android). For a computer, visit https://www.facebook.com and log in with your username and password.
   • Use this method to reply to other people's Facebook photo comments.

   Access the article you like to add photos. This can be done on your personal timeline or any articles that appear in news content in your feed.
   • If you're having trouble finding articles in your feed, type your friends' names in the search box at the top of the screen to find their accounts. This makes searching easier.

   Click or click Write a comment… (Write a comment ...). This is the space below the current comment section of the post where you can usually enter your own response.

   Enter comments. If you don't want to post any comments with photos, you can skip this step.

   Tap or click the Photo icon. This icon looks like a camera in a text box.

   Choose a photo.
   • On your smartphone or tablet: Tap the photo you want to upload, then tap Accomplished (Done) in the top right corner of the screen.
   • On a computer: click the photo you want to add, then click the cell Open (Open) in the lower right corner of the window.

   Post photo comments. On your computer, press ⏎ Return on Mac or ↵ Enter on Windows. On the mobile device, tap the Send icon in the lower right corner of the screen (it looks like a paper plane). Your photo will appear in the comments. advertisement

Method 3 of 3: Edit posts to add photos

   Open Facebook. If you have a mobile device, it's a blue icon with a white "F" on the screen (iPhone or iPad) or in the app drawer (Android). For a computer, visit https://www.facebook.com and log in with your username and password.
   • Use this method if you have posted something on your personal Facebook timeline and want to add a photo to the post.

   Find the article you want to edit. You can search on individual timeline, with articles displayed in the order of posting (newest posts will be on top). To go to your profile page, tap or click your profile picture in the top left corner of the page.

   Click or click the arrow in the top right corner of the post.

   Choose Edit Post.

   Click or click Photo / Video (Photo / Video). If you're on a computer, this icon will look like a camera in the lower left corner of the post.

   Choose a photo.
   • On your smartphone or tablet: Tap the photo you want to upload, then tap Accomplished (Done) in the top right corner of the screen. To select multiple photos, just tap the number of photos you want.
   • On your computer: Tap the photo you want to add, then tap Open (Open) in the lower right corner of the window. To select multiple photos, press and hold Ctrl (Windows) or ⌘ Command (Mac) when clicking each image.

7. 

   Click or click Post (To post). If you are using a smartphone or tablet, this button will be in the top right corner of the screen. The photo (s) will now appear in your original post. advertisement
