Today's wikiHow teaches you how to tell if someone on Facebook has a restriction so that you cannot see certain personal information on their wall. The "Restricted" list is different from the "Blocked" list, and if restricted by someone, you can still view your public posts and posts on your site with that person.

Steps

1. 

   Visit the person's profile page. If it's not a good idea to ask this person directly, it's a good idea to visit their Facebook page.

   Notice the space at the top of this person's profile. This is often a sign of the gap between private and public posts. If restricted, you will not be able to see private posts and the location will be replaced with spaces.
