If you forgot the keys and want to open the door, you can use your credit card to unlock. Remember that this technique is only effective for doors with simple handle locks with a spring-spool or pinch construction. To open the door, insert an ATM card into the gap between the door and the door frame. If you can't open it, you can try another solution.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Use basic technique

1. 

   Slide an ATM card into the vertical gap between the door and the door frame. Insert the card into the gap between the handle and the door frame, then slide the card down beside the door handle. Push the card in as far as possible in a direction perpendicular to the door.
