If you have a rough nail, you can apply a gloss polish. This will help the nail retain its natural moisture. If your nails are very thin, you can use a fiber hardener for a noticeable effect.
- To keep your nails strong, use an acetone-free nail polish remover (as this will dry out your nails) and not more than once a week.
Nail cleaning. Observe carefully the condition of the nail. Once the polish has been removed, you can clearly see the dirt that has accumulated under the nail. Use a good nail brush to remove dirt. Again, if you encounter stubborn stains, use a skin pusher to gently clean it.
- If you want to keep your nails long, cut all the nails to equal lengths so that they can grow evenly.
- Even though your nails should be cut slightly round, be sure to cut them across so they don't get in.
File your nails with a fine-textured filing tool. Similar to the sandpaper for furniture, the texture of the file tools differs according to the purpose; For natural nails, you'll need a fine file. Gently push the file tool along the edge of the nail, moving only in one direction to avoid splitting and breaking the nail.
- Be sure to remove any dust that appears after filing your nails.
- Don't make the mistake of creating thick paint. To keep the paint looking good and professional, you must apply each coat very evenly and thinly; Thick coatings will dry longer, risk fading and create deformed circles on the surface.
- If you are someone who cannot sit still, apply only one nail at a time. Once the nail is completely dry, move on to the next nail polish. The advantage of this is that if you run into problems, you will only damage the paint on one nail instead of the entire nail.
