Yahoo! is a popular site for basically everything: email, news, answers, articles, etc. Like many search engines, Yahoo! save your searches so you can easily return to recent history. However, you may want to delete some of this information from time to time. You can clear your search history from the desktop or mobile version of the Yahoo! site.

To step

Method 1 of 2: Desktop

1. Go to .search.yahoo.com/history. You can also do a search in Yahoo! mouse over the gear icon in the top right corner, then select "Search History".
2. Sign up for your Yahoo!account. This is not strictly necessary - if you are not logged in, you will see all searches you have made while not logged in to your account. To perform searches related to your Yahoo! account, click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner.
3. Delete a single entry by clicking the trash can button. Every search you have performed has this button to the right of the entry.
4. Delete all your search history by clicking the "Clear History" button. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete your entire history.
5. Prevent future tracking by clicking the option to keep track of history. Yahoo! will no longer save your search history.
6. Log in to any other account whose history you want to delete. Yahoo! stores the search history for each account separately. It also stores the history of your current browsing session when you are not logged in. Make sure to check everything if you're trying to completely erase your tracks.

Method 2 of 2: Mobile

1. Log in at.yahoo.com with the Yahoo! account you want to delete the history of. This is not strictly necessary - if you are not logged in, you will see all searches you have made while not logged in to your account.
   • To see the searches associated with your Yahoo! account, tap the Menu (☰) button in the top right corner, then sign in with your Yahoo! account.
2. Perform a search on.yahoo.com. You must be on the search results page to access your search history.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the results page and tap "Settings". This is below the bottom search bar.
4. Tap the "Manage History" link. You can find this in the category "Save search history".
5. Delete a single entry by tapping the trash can button. Every search you've performed will have this button to the right of the entry.
6. Delete all your search history by tapping the "Clear History" button. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete your entire history.
7. Prevent future tracking by turning off history tracking. Yahoo! will no longer save your search history.
