Method 1 of 2: Remove filters from a column

1. Open your spreadsheet in Excel. You can do this by double-clicking the file on your computer.
2. Go to the worksheet for which you want to clear the filters. Worksheet tabs are at the bottom of the current sheet.
3. Click the down arrow next to the column heading. In some versions of Excel, you will see a small funnel icon next to the arrow.
4. click on Clear filter from (column name). The filter has now been cleared from the column.

Method 2 of 2: Clear all filters in a worksheet

1. Open your spreadsheet in Excel. You can do this by double-clicking the file on your computer.
2. Go to the worksheet for which you want to clear the filters. Worksheet tabs are at the bottom of the current sheet.
3. Click on the tab data. You can see this at the top of the screen.
4. click on To clear in the "Sort and Filter" group. You can find it near the center of the toolbar at the top of the screen. All filters in the worksheet are now cleared.
