Method 1 of 3: Using the washing machine

   • You can wash cotton, wool and durable polyester in the washing machine. Wool, silk and delicate cotton should be hand washed.
2. Wash the trousers with the delicate wash program and cold water. Put the laundry bag with the pants in it in the washing machine. Use a mild detergent. Set the washing machine to the mildest wash cycle and use cold water.
   • When the washing machine is ready, take the trousers out of the washing machine as soon as possible.

Method 2 of 3: Hand wash trousers

1. Hang up the trousers. Always hang the pants after washing. If your pants have pleats, fold them up along the crease and hang them on the clothes hanger. You simply fold trousers without pleats in half on the hanger and hang them up.
