Google Chrome now offers the HelloFax application, a new step in the improvement of Google document processing. With a Gmail account you can now create and save digital faxes in Google Drive. These documents can be sent as a fax using the Google Chrome application HelloFax. In this article, we'll show you how to send faxes from Gmail.

Part 1 of 3: Finding your document

1. Log in with your Google account. All Google products are available by logging in with your username and password.
2. Click on "Drive" from the drop-down menu in the bar at the top of the screen.
3. Upload documents you want to fax with Google Drive. Click on the orange upload button or create a new document with the "New" button.
4. Save email attachments in Google Drive, which used to be called Google Docs. Choose to view the attachment online instead of downloading it.
5. Click the "Add to Drive" button at the top right of the page once the document is open.
6. Edit and save your documents. Now they are ready to be sent if you have set up HelloFax.

Part 2 of 3: Download HelloFax for Google Drive

1. Go to hellofax.com/googledrive.
2. Click the "Sign in with Google" button.
   • You can also create an account on Hellofax.com and link your account to Google Drive.
3. Download the HelloFax application for Google Chrome. If you don't already have the Google browser on your computer, you must download it before continuing.
4. Click on the HelloFax application once it is installed. Allow HelloFax to access your Google Drive account.

Part 3 of 3: Fax your document

1. Click on "Send a fax" to start sending a fax, or enter a signature.
2. Select the file you want to fax from the list of documents in Google Drive.
3. Edit your document before sending it, if desired.
   • To use all functions, you must first scan your signature and upload it to your HelloFax account. This way you can add your signature digitally before sending the fax.
4. Enter the phone number or e-mail address to which the fax should be sent in the appropriate text box.
5. Click on "Send".
   • You can fax 50 pages for free before HelloFax starts charging for it. After this you have to provide the details of your credit card to be able to send more.

Tips

• HelloFax is also integrated with Box and DropBox, so you can select documents for faxing from these cloud services as well.
