This wikiHow teaches you how to type bold letters in a Telegram chat when using an Android.

To step

1. Open Telegram on your Android. This is the blue icon with a white paper airplane inside. You usually find it in the app drawer.
2. Tap a chat. This will open the conversation.
3. Type **.
4. Type the word or phrase you want to be bold. There is no need to put a space between ** and the words.
5. Top again ** at the end. The final product should look something like this: * * These words will be in bold * *.
6. Tap the send button. This is the blue paper plane at the bottom right of the screen. The words between the double asterisks will be shown in bold.
   • You can include plain (not bold) words in the same message. Don't put those words in asterisks.
