The main menu of the super successful shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops is presented in the first person: the character is tied to a chair in a dark room. Most players do not attach any importance to this and just start the game, but a few inquisitive players realized that it turns out that you can get out of the chair and thereby unlock additional gizmos.

Steps

1. 1 Instead of choosing Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, or Options, look at your feet. Look down with the right stick of your Xbox 360 or PS3 and the mouse on your computer. You will see that your character's arms are tied to the chair.
2. 2 Quickly press the buttons responsible for "your" hands until you are free. You will see how your character will try to get out for a while, after which he will finally be able to get up from the chair. Management is carried out as follows:
   • Xbox 360: quickly switch right and left triggers.
   • PS3: quickly press R2 and L2.
   • PC: quickly press the space bar and the right mouse button.
   • Wii: quickly shake the nunchuck and controller back and forth.
3. 3 Walk around the room looking for a computer. After getting out of the chair, you can now examine the room in which you were imprisoned and enter a couple of interesting codes into the small black computer behind the chair. Click the button marked in the lower right corner to return to the main menu.
4. 4 Enter some codes into your computer to unlock secrets and hidden game modes. Along with a couple of secrets, Black Ops also has two additional game modes hidden away. To unlock them, enter the following codes:
   • 3ARC INTEL unlocks all intelligence in the game.
   • DOA unlocks the top-down zombie shooter Dead-Ops Arcade for 4 players.
   • ZORK activates an 80s style text adventure game.
   • 3ARC UNLOCK activates the presidential zombie mode.

Tips

• If you want to return to play, sit back in your chair.
