In this article, we'll show you how to install the Uber app.

Method 1 of 2: iOS

1. 1 Launch the App Store app.
2. 2 Tap Search.
3. 3 Enter "Uber".
4. 4 Click "Uber". This is the first option in the search results to appear below the search bar.
5. 5 Click Download. It's to the right of Uber.
   • Make sure the Uber app you choose is created by Uber Technologies, Inc..
6. 6 Tap Install.
7. 7 Enter your Apple ID and password. Uber will start downloading.
   • The download may start without having to enter your Apple ID credentials.

Method 2 of 2: Android

1. 1 Open Play Store.
2. 2 Tap the magnifying glass icon.
3. 3 Enter "Uber".
4. 4 Tap Find.
5. 5 Click Uber. Make sure the Uber app you choose is created by Uber Technologies, Inc..
6. 6 Tap Install. It's in the upper right corner.
7. 7 Click Accept if prompted. The download of the application will start.

Tips

• Once the Uber app is installed, sign in with your Uber credentials.

Warnings

• The Uber app is about 100 megabytes in size. If your device's memory is low on free space, uninstall unnecessary applications or data first.
