1. 1 Remove your PIN or pattern. To install a new lock screen, you need to disable the security feature that unlocks the home screen. Your actions will depend on the device model.
   • Launch the Settings app .
   • Scroll down and tap Lock Screen & Security or Lock Screen.
   • Tap Screen Lock or Screen Lock Type.
   • Enter your current PIN or pattern, or scan your finger or eye.
   • Select "No."
   • Follow the instructions on the screen to confirm your changes.
2. 2 Open Play Store . It's in the app drawer or home screen.
3. 3 Find a lock screen app. Enter lock screen or lock screen in the search bar, and then click Find. The search results are displayed.
4. 4 Select a lock screen app. Choose an app that has been downloaded over a million times and has a rating of at least four stars.
   • Popular applications are Zui Locker and SnapLock Smart Lock Screen.
5. 5 Click on Install. If required, grant the app access to the device. When the installation process is complete, an Open button appears instead of the Install button.
6. 6 Tap Open. The installed lock screen app will launch.
7. 7 Follow the onscreen instructions to customize your lock screen. They depend on the application. Typically, you need to give the application a number of permissions and then disable the system screen lock (to avoid double locking).
8. 8 Set the security type in the lock screen app. Different apps offer different ways to unlock the device screen. Follow the instructions on the screen to set up security.
9. 9 Lock the screen of your device. To do this, press the on / off button. Please note that there is no emergency button on the screen.
