In this article, we are going to show you how to download Facebook voice messages to your computer using a web browser. You cannot download voice messages on the computer version of Facebook, but on the computer you can open the mobile version of the Facebook website and download the voice messages as audio files.

Steps

1. 1 Open up the mobile version of the Facebook website in a web browser on a computer. Enter m.facebook.com in the address bar of your browser, and then press the key ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.
   • To download voice messages, the mobile version of the site must be opened on a computer.
   • You cannot download voice messages using a mobile browser or mobile application.
2. 2 Click on the Messenger icon. It looks like a speech cloud with lightning and is in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
3. 3 Find and open the desired voicemail. If you can't find the message you want to download, click View All Messages below the list.
4. 4 Right click on the icon in a voice message. A menu will open.
5. 5 Please select Download audio as on the menu. With this option, the voice message can be downloaded to your computer as an audio file.
6. 6 Click on Save in the window. The voice message is downloaded to your computer.It can now be played on a computer.
   • If you want, change the name of the audio file or the download folder in the window.
