Method 1 of 2: Deep Cleansing Oil

Method 2 of 2: Regular oil

Tips

• It is best to use plain mineral oil, which is sold over the counter as a laxative, as it will not be rancid and is completely safe.
• Do not store this polish, it must be made and used on the same day. Dispose of polish in the same way as you dispose of olive oil.
• This polish is not suitable for all furniture. For example, since lemon juice and vinegar are water soluble, acidic solutions are probably more suitable for polyurethane or furniture laminate finishes.If you do not want to take risks and are afraid of ruining antique furniture, use a ready-made commercial polish.
• The first polish penetrates deeper, while the second is more suitable for regular cleaning. Plus, the furniture will exude a delicious lemon scent.

Warnings

• If you apply polish to finely finished antique furniture, it can create haze.
• If you use a different type of vinegar, stains may appear.
• Test the polish on a small area of ​​furniture first. If the mixture makes the furniture too greasy, reduce the amount of oil.
