There is no need to spend money on a factory-made brass weapon when you can make one yourself in a matter of minutes. Method 1, described below, will tell you how to make a large wind weapon from a pipe (or PVC tube), and method 2 will talk about a simpler, small weapon made of straw. Regardless of the materials at your disposal, you will have a real weapon in no time. Start with tip 1 of the method that works best for you.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Crafting a Brass Weapon from a Tube

  1. 1 Collect materials:
    • Tube, length 1.2 - 1.5 m, diameter 1.5 cm
    • Round ribbed nails
    • A small piece of paper (5 x 7.5 cm)
    • Scissors
    • Electrical tape or masking tape
      • If you do not find all this, then use the 2nd method described below.
  2. 2 Wrap the head of the nail with a piece of paper. Place the nail in a corner of the paper and wrap it around the nail to form a cone. The dart is ready. Thanks to the tapered end, which determines the direction and speed for it, the dart will fly more accurately.
    • After wrapping the head of the nail, secure the paper with duct tape. Glue the paper to the nail with one piece. Glue one or two more pieces of tape for strength so that the pieces do not fall apart.
    • The heavier the dart is, the deeper it will penetrate. So if you like, wind more tape to make it heavier.
  3. 3 Place the dart in the tube to cut off the excess. Don't worry if it sticks out somewhere. You just need to put it in the tube to identify the excess paper - at the place where the tube ends. This will show you how long the dart should be.
    • Cut the paper along the edge of the tube. The result is a dart that fits the tube perfectly.
  4. 4 Put the dart in the tube, aim and shoot. That's all. By inserting a dart into the tube and drawing more air into your lungs, you can shoot so that the dart will fly as much as 15 meters. Try to blow with all your might.
    • Make a whole bunch of darts so you have a lot of ammo ready.

Method 2 of 2: Craft Mini Wind Weapons

  1. 1 Collect materials:
    • A small piece of paper about 2.5 cm x 7.5 cm
    • Ribbon
    • Toothpicks
    • Scissors
    • Straw
    • Sharpened pencil
  2. 2 Wrap paper around the end of the pencil. Start winding from the corner to create a cone shape. Do it well and tightly, aligning with the tip of the graphite rod.
    • Once you have a cone, glue it with duct tape. Don't worry - the taper won't be perfect. The edge of the paper will still stick out at the top.
  3. 3 Cut off the top of the cone. The hole should match the size of the toothpick. For this:
    • Insert the tip of a toothpick into the cone.
    • If that doesn't work, make a tiny cut at the tip of the cone.
    • Re-insert the tip of the toothpick. If it fits snugly, you are on the right track.
  4. 4 Place the cone in a straw. Most likely, the paper will still bulge. Slide it tightly so that a wrinkle or slightly sunken paper appears around the edge of the straw.
    • Cut off excess paper on top of the straw, where the groove is. You will end up with a tiny cone that matches the tip of a toothpick, giving it direction, speed, and ability to fly.
  5. 5 Glue a small cone to the tip of a toothpick. The tip of the toothpick should stick out slightly. Try to stick the tape well to both the toothpick and the paper cone.
  6. 6 Insert a dart into a straw and shoot! That's it. Take in more air, aim, blow from everyone towards the target you have chosen. Try to hit a fruit or some kind of balloon. Definitely not a brother or sister.
  7. 7 Carry extra darts with you. If you want, you can get original and make an impromptu dart holster. This way it can be reloaded faster and easier to shoot. Here's how:
    • Cut the straw half the length of the dart.
    • Apply some double-sided tape to the end of the straw.
    • Place the pieces of straw in a circle on the tape.
    • Add more duct tape to the top of the straw to secure it tightly.
    • Insert darts. They must not fall out!

Tips

  • Make darts out of metal because they penetrate deeper, but you can use any other material.
  • There must be a cone at the tip, otherwise it won't fly.
  • PVC tube as an alternative to conventional tube.

Warnings

  • Do not shoot people with weapons. Otherwise it will be the last time you use this weapon.
