1 Find an 8 ½ "(21.5 cm) by 11" (28 cm) piece of paper. A regular sheet of printing paper will work as well.
  • 2 Roll the paper like this: top right corner to the left edge of the sheet. So that the top corner of the paper is folded in line with the left corner of the paper. The folded paper forms a triangle. A piece that has not yet been bent will remain at the bottom.
  • 3 Cut off the remaining rectangle from the bottom. Use scissors. Then unfold the triangle to make a square piece of paper. This will be the edge of your knife.
  • 4 Roll the paper at least 3-4 times. This will be a blade measuring 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) wide. The paper should look like a stick.
  • 5 Cut one end of the paper into a sharp edge so that it looks like the blade of a kitchen knife.
  • 6 Use glue or a stapler to hold the blade together. You can color the paper if you like, and color the paper clips so they cannot be seen (for example, with white paint).
  • 7 Make a knife handle. It should be 1 inch (2.5 cm) longer than the tip. Trim off excess paper from the remaining patch we cut off before. Roll up the paper.
  • 8 Staple the paper together. Attach the handle to the knife blade (with a stapler).
  • 9 The knife is ready! You can paint it silver.
  • Tips

    • The more you fold the paper, the harder it will be.
    • Use duct tape instead of a stapler if desired.
