1 Preheat oven to 180 º C. Prepare a muffin pan or tray with 12 muffin pieces lined up.
  • 2 Gently break the eggs into a bowl and remove the shells if they get there. Beat the eggs lightly with a fork.
  • 3 Place all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large bowl. Add beaten eggs.
  • 4 Mix with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Once the mixture is light and airy, it is ready to be poured into a mold.
  • 5 Spread the mixture over the molds with a spoon or spatula. Try to distribute it evenly.
  • 6 Sprinkle chocolate shavings over each muffin. Fold each cupcake neatly.
  • 7 Place in the oven. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Cupcakes are ready when they have risen and hardened.
  • 8 Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Transfer the muffins to a chill rack and set aside until they have cooled completely. Cover the cooled muffins with icing.
  • 9 Ready. Decorate with pastry powder if desired.
  • Tips

    • To make muffins with lots of chocolate, substitute 3-4 tablespoons of flour with cocoa powder and add chocolate chips.
    • Suitable icing is chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, orange, etc.
    • If you don't have chocolate chips, add nutella to the mixture.
    • Store in an airtight container away from heat sources.

    Warnings

    • Please note that you cannot use a hot chocolate mixture, only plain cocoa powder.
    • Always use gloves when handling hot objects.
