Putuo is a traditional Filipino steamed rice cake. It is made from rice flour. Puto is eaten for breakfast, with coffee or hot chocolate.
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp. spoons of baking powder (baking powder)
- 1 cup of condensed milk
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- Cheese - cut into small pieces
Steps
1 Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. Stir well.
2 Add butter, condensed milk, egg and stir.
3 Pour the mixture into molds.
4 Place the cheese on top.
5 Prepare a container for steaming.
6 Place the steaming tins and cook for 20 minutes.
7 Get ready-made putos.
8 Serve with coffee.
