Pixar is trying to tell you that you can't get on a tour of the studio, but if you're determined, then you can. Read below if you are interested in a guided tour.
Steps
1 From time to time, Pixar hosts charity events where they sell tickets and give small tours of the studio. They are mainly aimed at young people; it offers various entertainment and the like. When Pixar runs charity events where they run tours, tickets sell quickly, so keep an eye on when they sell tickets. Keep in mind that these tickets tend to sell for a few hundred dollars, so you better save some money! 
2 If you know someone who works at Pixar, be it a family member or friend, you can ask them to take you on a tour of the studio. This is the most famous way to get a tour. Even if you don't have a close relative or friend who works there, you could still get a tour knowing a guy who knows a guy who is neighbors with a guy who is friends with a guy, and so on. 
3 Along with the "I know such a guy" technique, Pixar also has in-person screenings of its films months before they are released in theaters. This is when people who work there can invite a guest to come and watch films. Please note that if you choose this method to get on a tour, they also sometimes (if you're lucky) conduct tours if the staff bring a guest with them. 
4 Apply for a job! I know this is not the most ideal way to get there, but it works. You definitely have to have a certain qualification to work there and spend several years studying. If you are qualified enough, Pixar will call you for an interview and then you should be able to see quite a bit of the building. Who knows, maybe you will work there! 
5 Take part in contests! It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes Pixar runs contests where you can win either merchandise or even tickets to get your hands on a tour of the studio! They also sometimes provide an airplane ride to where the studio is located, if you win. 
6 Go to www.pixarplanet.com for "Upcoming Events" to let people know if there are contests, charities and more!
7 If you are in the region where Pixar Studios is located, you can always just drive past the building, which even from the outside is really neat and beautiful!
Tips
- It takes time! Getting on tour at Pixar isn't something that just happens overnight; sometimes it can take months, even years, so be patient.
- If you get on the tour, stop at their cafe! The food there is delicious!
- Don't be discouraged if Pixar doesn't call you for an interview right away; in fact, most Pixar employees had to submit their apps many times before even being considered for interviews.
Warnings
- If you know someone who works at Pixar, you can't get them to give you a tour, so don't go after him!
- If you are in the region where the studio is located, do not try to infiltrate it! With all the guards and security measures, this is pretty much impossible. Not to mention, you might even go to jail.
