Shedinya is a mysterious Pokemon that floats motionless in the air with a halo above its head. He only has 1 health point, but cannot be hit by most of the abilities in the game. To get Shedinya, you need to catch Ninkada and fulfill other conditions. Shedinya can be a powerful and unexpected addition to your team.

Steps

1. 1 Capture Ninkada. If you fulfill all the necessary conditions, then Shedinya will appear when Ninkada evolves into Ninjaska. Depending on the version of the game, Shedinya can be caught in the following locations:
   • Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald - Ninkada can be found in the grass on Route 116.
   • FireRed and LeafGreen - Ninkada can only be obtained through exchange.
   • Diamond, Pearl and Platinum - You can find Ninkada in the Eterna forest, but for this you need a poker radar.
   • HeartGold and SoulSilver - You can get Ninkada as a prize for the competition to catch beetles in the National Park, which takes place on Thursday and Saturday.
   • Black, White, B2, W2 - Ninkada can only be obtained through exchange.
   • X and Y - Ninkada can be found in the grass on Route 6. She can also be found on an earthen safari.
   • Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Ninkada can be found in the grass on Route 116.
2. 2 Leave a free space in your group. When Ninkada evolves, you can only get Shedinya if there is an empty seat in your group. This means that, including Ninkada, your group must have 5 or fewer Pokémon.
3. 3 Bring a spare pokeball (for some versions of the game only). In some versions of the game, you must have one extra Pokeball in your inventory. It should be a regular Pokeball, not a special one like Ultraball.
   • In Diamond, Pearl and Platinum games, it is not necessary to have an extra Poké Ball, but in other versions of the game it is necessary.
   • Since there is no Poké Ball requirement in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, Shedinya will copy the Poké Ball you caught Nincada in. This is the only way to get Ninkada in Special Poké Ball.
4. 4 Upgrade Ninkada to at least level 20. This is the first level at which Ninkada will try to evolve into Ninjaska. Make sure you meet the Pokémon count and spare Poké Ball requirement before allowing Ninkada to evolve. Otherwise, you will not get Shedinya. You can pump Ninkada in battles or by using Rare Candies.
   • If you do not allow Ninkada to evolve, you can continue to train both Pokémon, because after the evolution of Ninkada, Shedinya will inherit all abilities and characteristics from him. To interrupt the evolution, you must hold down the B button during the evolution animation. For example, by not allowing Ninkada to evolve right up to level 50, you will thereby receive a level 50 Shedinya. At the same time, Shedinya will have all the abilities that Ninkada has.
5. 5 Allow Ninkada to evolve to get Shedinya. If you have fulfilled all the necessary requirements, then Shedinya will appear in your group. You will not receive any notification that you received this Pokémon.
   • Since Shedinya emerges from Ninkada, radiant Ninkada will give you a radiant Shedinya. Shedinya will also inherit all of Ninkada's abilities and characteristics.
   • Shedinya only has 1 health, but is invulnerable to most skills. Thanks to the "Miracle Defense" ability, only abilities that Shedinya has a weakness for can get into Shedinya. These include the abilities of elements such as fire, flight, ghost, and darkness. Shedinya is pretty strong. If you teach her the ability "Swift Claw", you can attack first and prevent your opponent from taking advantage of your weakness.
