1 Take an iron and a brown paper bag.Tips
- If the carpet has a thick pile, clean the wax with a fine-toothed comb if possible.
- You can also try using paper towels instead of paper bags.
- If the wax is on your clothes, cover it with stain remover, then wash in hot water.
Warnings
- If you are cleaning carpet (or thin fabric), start with a low iron temperature. Increase the temperature if necessary. Carpets and other items can be made from fibers that can melt when exposed to high temperatures.
- Do not turn on too high a temperature, as the paper bag may catch on fire.
- Make sure the paper bag is at least twice the size of your iron to avoid damaging the fabric.
- The wax can stick to damp cloth if you are not careful.
