To open AutoFill options in Safari (iPhone), launch the Preferences app and choose Safari> AutoFill.
Steps
1 Launch the Settings app. The icon for this application looks like gray gears and is usually located on the home screen.
2 Scroll down and click Safari. You will find this option in the fifth section of options.
3 Click Autocomplete. This option is located in the General section.
4 Change the autocomplete options. In the "Autocomplete" menu, you can enable / disable autocomplete contact information, passwords and bank card data, as well as view and edit the data of saved bank cards.
- Move the slider next to Contact Information to the "On" position to automatically fill in the contact information in the appropriate text boxes.
- Move the slider beside My Details to the "On" position to have your personal information automatically entered into the appropriate text boxes.
- Move the slider beside Names and passwords to the "On" position to automatically enter your credentials (username and password) in the appropriate text boxes.
- Move the slider next to Bank Cards to the "On" position so that bank card details are automatically entered in the appropriate text fields.
- Click Saved bank cards to add a new one or change the details of an existing bank card.
Tips
- You can change your personal information and contact information in the Contacts app.
- To add or change existing passwords, launch the Settings app and choose Safari> Passwords.
- Click Enable Passcode when you activate the Names and Passwords or Bank Cards feature so that the system requires a password when you auto-fill in the password or bank card details.
Warnings
- If you enable autocomplete for sensitive information, the security of passwords or bank card information will be affected.
