Gray meat flies are unusually large flies with stripes on their chest. They have thick bodies and limbs, and bright red eyes. These pesky pests can grow up to 2.54 cm in length.
Steps
1 Find out why flies are in your home. Gray meat flies get their name because they lay their eggs inside dead animals and, on rare occasions, even in human corpses. Gray meatflies also love garbage. Despite their name, these flies are harmless and do not bite. 
2 If you want flies to leave your home, you will need to get rid of the things that attract them. Keep trash cans by the side of the road, even if it's not garbage collection day. Look for corners in your home where there may be dead animals (e.g. rats, mice, birds, etc.). Close doors that lead outside as often as possible. Sometimes these flies fly from the street after eating someone who died on the street. 
3 Another option is to kill them only by force. Use a traditional fly swatter, rolled newspaper, or bug spray. Typically, these flies die within a few days in your home. 
4 Vacuum them. Keep a vacuum cleaner handy, and when you come across a lot of flies at the same time, just suck them in. They will mix with all the dust in the bag and die pretty quickly. After you've destroyed them, replace the package. This is not recommended with a bagless vacuum cleaner unless you want to watch these little insects suffer and die.
Tips
- When picking up dead animals, use gloves or wash your hands immediately afterwards. In order not to spread germs throughout the house.
- If you are very afraid of flies, a pest control can help you get rid of them.
- Swatting gray blowflies in mid-air works well because they are exceptionally slow due to their size.
- Keep the doors closed.
Warnings
- Some insect sprays are toxic. Do not breathe vapor.
- Just watch where you hit. You can break objects and injure people.
