After a tremendous effort in making jellies, especially jellies of the original form, knowing how to successfully remove them from the mold can be helpful. A vacuum forms at the base of the jelly mold, and it is this vacuum that must be broken in order to successfully remove the jelly. This article contains two very simple and effective ways.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Warm Water Method

1. 1 Fill a bowl with warm water. The bowl should be larger than the jelly mold.
2. 2 Place the mold in warm water. Make sure that no water gets into the jelly!
3. 3 Leave it on for a few seconds and then remove it.
4. 4 Flip the jelly. It must keep its shape perfectly.

Method 2 of 2: Hot water method

1. 1 Fill a bowl with hot water.
2. 2 Dip the jelly mold in hot water three times.
3. 3 Place on a hard surface. Press down on the jelly around the entire edge of the mold with your finger. Pull gently from the edges of the mold around the jelly.
4. 4 Flip the jelly dish onto a plate. Place your hands over the bottom of the plate and the bottom of the dish. Shake briskly and quickly and the jelly should be on the plate.
5. 5 Ready.

Tips

• Rinsing the plate with cold water before adding the jelly can be helpful. When removing the jelly from the mold, you can tilt the plate so that the jelly is in the center.
• If you would like to prepare the jelly mold before adding the jelly mix, you can use an alternative method. This method involves rinsing the mold with cold water and smearing it with vegetable oil. After the jelly has hardened, it will not only come out of the mold very easily, but it will also have a glossy shine.
