Racism can be a serious problem in school. As a high school student, you may meet people who make hurtful racial comments about you. Just keep in mind that these are dull-witted people, and they have their own "cockroaches in their heads"! From the point of view of science, belonging to any race is a social aspect and nothing more.

Steps

  1. 1 Fight back. If someone makes racist statements, point out that being a member of a particular race does not determine what a person will become or how they will live their life. You can remind this person of your good academic record, ability, or talent, even though you are a “limited” race.
  2. 2 Talk to your teacher, headmaster, supervisor, or similar. In some cases, racial discrimination is illegal. Here are some examples of illegal discrimination:
    • The cafes don't serve you lunch even if you paid enough money, and they do it on the basis of race.
  3. 3 Think about why people speak out to you this way. Are they doing it out of jealousy of you? Have they made racist comments about other students in your school? People who talk about race are often narrow-minded. They judge people, even before they get to know them. Some people may be racist towards you simply because they don't like you or want to see you in their company. There are vile people in the world who have no good reason not to love you, but who will try to find something unkind to express to you.
  4. 4 Don't show your weakness. Try to fight your emotions. When they see your emotional reaction, they will want to continue to hurt your feelings even more.
  5. 5 Ignore hurtful comments. This is a well-known way of countering hammam. When they see you ignoring them, they get bored and stop doing it.

Tips

  • Do you believe these people? Take a close and honest look at yourself from the outside. Do you need to change something in yourself? Your personality is not influenced by skin color or stereotypes against your nationality.
  • There is a difference between sneaking and wanting to stop a bully.
  • Talk to a school psychologist - he can help.
  • Don't just ignore them, take action and tell a trusted adult.
  • The bully wants to hurt your feelings. So, no matter how painful it is, act so that your tears do not become a reward for the bully.
  • Tell someone you trust, such as your homeroom teacher. He can probably give you more good advice.
  • Know who your real friends are and stick with them.
  • Be condescending to the bully. This may surprise and / or confuse him.

Warnings

  • It's generally bad to fight with a bully, but even so, don't stoop to his level!
  • Don't touch the bully again. This can lead to trouble and a new portion of bullying towards you.
  • Think well before answering. Do not fight fire with fire. Be the best!
