How to watch and follow YouTube videos will be pretty simple! To do this, you will need to visit the YouTube website or the mobile app on your smartphone.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: using the YouTube App (iOS)

1. 

   Open the app "App Store".

   Press Search (Search). This is the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen.

   Enter the words "youtube".

4. 

   Hit "youtube". It will be the first result in the drop-down menu.

   Click "YouTube".

   Press BEGIN (GET). This button is in the upper right corner of the screen.
   • If you downloaded YouTube before, it will be a cloud icon with a down arrow.

   Press SETTING (INSTALL).

   Enter your Apple ID and password if prompted.

   Wait for YouTube to finish downloading.

    Open the "YouTube" app.

Method 2 of 3: using the YouTube App (Android)

1. 

   Open the Google Play Store.

2. 

   Click the magnifying glass icon.

   Enter "youtube".

   Press Continue (Go).

   Press (AgreeAccept) if prompted.

8. 

   Wait for YouTube to finish downloading.

Method 3 of 3: Use a YouTube website (Desktop)

1. 

   Transfer to YouTube.

2. 

   Click the "Search" field. This item is at the top of the page.

3. 

   Enter search keywords.

   Press Import (↵ Enter). You can also click the magnifying glass icon to the right of this search bar.

   Click the video you want to watch. Now you know how to watch YouTube videos!
   • Click anywhere on the video screen to pause it. Press again to cancel pause.

   Click the arrow Share (Share). This section is below the YouTube video.

   Right click on the highlighted URL. You can also click on one of the social networking forms provided.

   Press Copy (Copy).

   Paste the YouTube link onto your favorites page. Do this by right clicking in the shareable field (for example, email or status update field) and pressing Paste (Paste).
