Microsoft Word is commonly used for editing and editing common text documents and files for other work. However, did you know that we can even use Word to create artistic designs to make our text files more attractive? There are a few "tips" to make the text more vivid, in which, curling the text is a way to make the document look not much different but still attractive.

Steps

Part 1 of 2: Creating new document or opening existing file

1. 

   Open Microsoft Word. Click the Start button or the sphere in the lower left corner of the desktop to open the Start menu. Select “All Programs” from the menu and open the Microsoft Office folder listed here. Inside the folder, you'll see a Microsoft Word shortcut icon.

   Create new documents. After MS Word opens, click the "File" tab in the upper left corner of the MS Word window and select "New" from the drop-down menu to create a new text document.

   Open the document. If you want to edit an existing Word document, select “Open” from the drop-down menu and then select the existing doc file you want to edit. advertisement

Part 2 of 2: Bending letters

   Insert Word Art. Click the “Insert” menu tab in the upper-left corner of the MS Word window and select the “WordArt” button along the top of the ribbon.
   • Select the design you want to use from the drop-down list. This list will appear after you click the WordArt button.

   Enter text. Type any words that you want to bend into the text box that appears in your Word document.

   Curved letters. Click the “Text Effects” button with a glowing blue “A” icon next to the vertical group of WordArt Styles on the ribbon. Choose “Transform” from the drop-down menu then choose “Follow Path” in the landscape pop-up menu. The WordArt you just created will be curled.

   Curve adjustment. Click the vertical purple dot next to the WordArt frame and drag across the screen to adjust the curvature of the text.
   • You can adjust the curvature from 180 to 360 degrees.

5. 

   Save document. After you curl the text to the desired angle, click the "File" tab again and choose "Save As / Save" from the drop-down menu to save the changes you just made. in doc file. advertisement
