- This will prolong the time you need to paint the nail, but shorten the time it takes to dry.
- Paint each nail one at a time, then repeat in the same order. If you do this, the first nail will be dry enough to apply the second coat when you've finished applying the first layer of your last nail.
- Do this on both hands so that the entire nail is completely dry.
- Make sure the dryer is turned on in the cool mode before starting. When blowing dry, place the dryer about 30cm away from your hand to avoid damaging the nail polish.
- If you use a dryer on high heat or put it too close to your nail, your nail polish will bubble or melt.
Dip your finger in a bowl of ice water for 1-2 minutes. Let your nails dry for 60 seconds, then prepare half a bowl of very cold water. Add 2-5 ice cubes to the bowl of water. Place the tips of your fingers in the ice for about 1-2 minutes and then let go. Usually the cold will help the paint to harden; So, soaking your hands in ice water is a great way to dry paint.
- Be careful with this method, as the nail polish can deteriorate if you put your hands in the water too soon. You need to wait until the paint is about to dry.
- While this dries the nail polish out, it will keep your hands cold!
- Make sure your nail polish is almost dry before blowing because the spray can damage the paint, and you may accidentally damage the painted surface.
- Dust sprays are available at most material supply stores.
Spray the non-stick cooking products on your fingertips to dry the paint. When using this product, place the non-stick spray about 15-30cm away from your fingertips and then spray a thin, even layer over the surface of each nail. This may seem odd, but the oil in the nonstick spray helps the nail polish dry faster. However, you should avoid using non-stick sprays that smell like butter.
- After the nail polish is finished, wait 1-2 minutes before applying the anti-stick product. Otherwise, you will damage the paint.
- The oil in the non-stick spray also helps to moisten the cuticles.
Method 2 of 2: Use nail polish that dries quickly
- Choose a quick-drying gloss coating to shorten the drying time. After the final coat has dried, apply a glossy finish from the cuticles to the tip of the nail. Use only quick-drying topcoat.
- This is also a way to prevent colored paint from peeling.
Try a small or sprayed nail polish dryer to shorten the time. After applying the coating, wait 1-3 minutes and drip one drop of the drying product on each nail or spray the product onto your fingertips. Wait 1-3 minutes, then wash your hands with cold water. You can use this product to reduce the time you wait for the paint to dry.- Nail product stores all have spray and drip drying products.
Advice
- Know how long to dry your nails and choose a drying method before you start painting your nails. If you're just trying to dry the nail polish out of the way, the nails can become smudged.
- For best results, let your nails dry for about a minute before using any other options. This will make the nail polish stick to the nail.
- New nail polish dries faster than the old one.
- To test the dryness of your nail, simply place the outer corner of one nail on the top of another. If you see an imprint on the paint, it means the paint is not yet dry.
