This article shows you how to use your Android phone or tablet to control another Android device. You can use TeamViewer free version for Android to do this, or use the RemoDroid app if the Android device you want to use to control another Android device has been jailbroken.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Use TeamViewer

1. 

   Google Play Store on Android that you want to use to control another Android, and then do the following:
   • Touch the search bar.
   • Type teamviewer
   • Touch TeamViewer for Remote Control
   • Choose INSTALL (Setting)
   • Touch ACCEPT (Accepted) when asked.

   Google Play Store on the Android device you want to control, and then do the following:
   • Touch the search bar.
   • Type teamviewer quicksupport
   • Touch TeamViewer QuickSupport
   • Choose INSTALL (Setting)
   • Touch ACCEPT (Accepted) when asked.

3. 

   Google Play Store on each Android device and do the following:
   • Touch the search bar.
   • Type remodroid
   • Touch RemoDroid
   • Choose INSTALL (Setting)
   • Choose ACCEPT (Accept)

   Open RemoDroid on both Android devices. Touch OPEN (Open) in Google Play Store or tap RemoDroid app.

   Touch ALLOW REMOTE CONTROL (Allows remote control) on second Android device. This puts the second Android device in "discoverable" mode, meaning you can connect the device to the Android controller.

   Touch CONNECT TO PARTNER (Connect with Partner) on a jailbroken Android device to open a list of devices you can connect to.

   Select the second Android device. Tap the name of the second Android device near the top of the screen.

   Touch CONNECT (Connection) is at the bottom of the screen.

9. 

   Confirm connection when asked. You have to touch ALLOW (Allow) or CONNECT (Connect) on the second Android device before it can be controlled. Once connected, you can control the connected Android device; Any operations performed on the remote Android device will show up on the other Android. advertisement

Advice

• The TeamViewer app is still the best option, unless you have jailbroken an Android device used to control another Android.

Warning

• The free version of TeamViewer on mobile only allows you to use 5 minutes at a time.
