In an age of development with countless different methods of communication today, protecting the privacy of each person seems to be becoming increasingly difficult. Android users can control who is and is not allowed to communicate with them with a simple touch. Whether you're dealing with an ex's nagging stubbornness or extremely annoying advertising messages, there is always the right option for you.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Block numbers completely

1. 

   Tap the "Phone" icon on the home screen.

   Check the phone number you want to block in the "logs" list.

   Touch the Option key on your phone

Method 2 of 3: Block phone number using Settings on Samsung Galaxy S3 phone

1. 

   Start from the phone home screen. Go Phone >> Menu >> Call settings >> Call rejections >> Auto reject list. (Add to Restricted List)

   Block all calls from unknown numbers. If you want to block all strange contacts check the box "Unavailable" (Unavailable).
3. Block a certain phone number. To block certain numbers or existing contacts, select Create ' (Create), then enter the phone number or contacts you want to block.

   

   • Once done, press Done (Done) to save changes.

Method 3 of 3: Block phone numbers from Contact App on Samsung Galaxy S3

1. 

   Open the app Contacts (Contacts) .Select the phone number you want to block.
   • Save the blocked numbers that have not been saved in the contacts list. We recommend naming it "Z" or digits "0-9" so that the phone number will appear at the end of your friend's directory.

   Choose Menu (Menu) >> Add to Rejects List (Add to Restricted List). This will automatically redirect calls from this number to voicemail (voicemail).

Advice

• Your phone will not ring when the blocked number arrives; all of those calls will be directed to voicemail.
• Depending on the type of Android phone you use, there may be a few minor differences. However, most devices should be able to use this instruction.
• There are plenty of call blocking apps available for Android - some of them are free, others require a small fee. Do your research carefully and don't forget to read the reviews to be sure of the quality of the service. Remember: most apps require administrative access.
