This is an article that instructs you on how to recover a hidden toolbar on your computer's web browser. You can do this on Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Safari. However, because the browser on the phone does not allow adding toolbars, the instructions below cannot be applied.

Steps

Method 1 of 5: On Google Chrome

1.

   • You can repeat this for lost or hidden toolbars by clicking the "Back" arrow in the upper left corner of the menu and then choosing a different service.

   Click Manage add-ons (Manage extensions) near the top of the drop-down menu to open a new window.

   Click the card Toolbars and Extensions (Toolbars and Extensions) on the left side of the window.

   Find the toolbar you want to turn on. Scroll through the list here to find the toolbar you want to use.

   Select the toolbar. Click to select the toolbar you want to use.

   Click Enable (Enable) in the lower-right corner of the window to launch the toolbar.
   • You can repeat this with the toolbars you want to enable.

   Click Close (Close) in the lower-right corner of the window to close the Add-Ons window.

    Turn on the default toolbar in the following way:
    • Press the key Alt.
    • Click View (View) in the upper-left corner of the window.
    • Choose Toolbars (Toolbar)
    • Check out options Menu bar (Menu bar)
    • Repeat for other toolbars.

11. 

    Virus scanning. If your toolbar still isn't working properly, it's possible that your computer has a virus. Scan your computer with your antivirus software to check it. If the computer has a virus, it will usually kill it for you. advertisement

Advice

• The toolbar is not always carried from one browser version to another. If you have recently updated your browser, the toolbar might no longer be compatible.

• Some toolbars will slow down your browser.
