Windows 7 must be activated to be used for more than 30 days. Windows Loader is a program that can be used to bypass the activation process completely, but it is not officially supported by Microsoft. You can also use the "rearm" command to restart the free period of Windows. This command can only be used three times, so you will still have to activate Windows after a maximum of 120 days.

To step

Method 1 of 2: Bypass activation with Windows Loader

1. Download Windows Loader.
2. Right click on the downloaded zip file and select "Extract here". Now the Windows Loader program will be extracted.
3. Start the Windows Loader program. A window will now open with the details of your operating system.
4. Click on the "Install" button. This button is in the lower left corner of the window.
5. Restart your computer after the installation is complete.
6. Check your activation status. Right click on "Computer" and select "Properties". Now the System Properties window opens. If the operating system has been successfully activated, you will now see "Windows is activated" at the bottom of the window, with the assigned product key.

Method 2 of 2: Renew the free period with a command

1. Press ⊞ Win and type "Cmd" in the search box. The Command Prompt program appears in the list of search results.
2. Right click on Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator". Now the Command Prompt program will open with administrator rights.
3. Type “slmgr -rearm” in the command prompt window and press ↵ Enter. Now a script is executed, after a while you will be asked to restart your computer.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Check your activation status. Right click on "Computer" and select "Properties". Now the System Properties window opens. The activation period should be reset to 30 days.
   • Remember that this command can be used up to 3 times, so your total activation period is up to 120 days.

Tips

• The "rearm" command is not a permanent solution, but it is a legal function of Windows.

Warnings

• If the installer for your purchased version of Windows 7 needs to be activated using this method, you may have bought a pirated copy.
• Using Windows Loader may violate Microsoft's terms and conditions.
