Content

First, you arrived in Pandaria on a burning airship that crashed into the fog. That was absolutely epic, but now you have no means of transport! Your next visit will be a bit more straightforward now that a portal has opened up in Orgrimmar.

To step

Part 1 of 2: Returning to Pandaria

  1. Visit the Valley of Honor. This sub-zone is on the eastern side of Orgrimmar and a large river flows through it.
  2. Look for a red balloon. Look out for a bright red hot air balloon floating above the Valley, just after the bridge from the city center.
  3. Go through the portal to Honeydew Village. This portal is located directly below this balloon, next to the Pandarian monk and trainer, Ji Firepaw.

Part 2 of 2: Troubleshooting

  1. Check to see if you have already completed the intro quest. If you have only visited Pandaria through calls from "warlocks" or through "mage portals", the portal will not appear. Check your logbook or check the Command Board of an Orgrimmar Warchief to see if The Art of War quest is included. When the storyline of the quest takes you to Pandaria, the portal in Orgrimmar will open.
    • You must be at level 85 or higher to start this quest.
  2. Repeat the quest storyline after the power distribution of the different factions has changed. If you left the Alliance after your first visit to Pandaria, you will have to redo the quest from the side of the Horde. Start the series of quests with the The Art of Wart quest, as described above.
  3. Unlock the portal with an elevated character. If you bought a level boost for your character, for level 90 and above, a bug may mark the first quest as completed. Instead, fly to the northwest airship from the docks to start the next quest in line.

Tips

  • Once you return to the Shrine of Two Moons, chat with an innkeeper to place your "hearthstone" here. The Shrine contains portals to most of the Alliance's capitals, making it the most useful location for your hearthstone.

Warnings

  • You must be at level 85 to begin the quest that will lead you to Pandaria. You can summon a "warlock" or "mage" before then, but a character whose level is not high enough may have difficulty surviving.
