This article will teach you how to make YouTube video URLs open in the YouTube app instead of your Android's web browser.

To step

1. Open the Settings of your Android. This is the icon Scroll down and press Apps. This is usually under the heading "Device".
2. Press ⁝. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
   • On some devices this may look like a gear symbol.
3. Press Default Apps. If you don't see this option, it could also be hidden under another menu. Or it could have a different name, such as "Open Links."
4. Press Set as Default.
5. Scroll down and press YouTube.
6. Press Go to supported URLs. A pop-up menu will appear.
   • This may also be called "Open Supported Links" on some devices.
7. Select In this app. Now all YouTube links should open automatically in the YouTube app instead of your default internet browser.
