To step

Method 1 of 2: Using the Instagram multi-photo feature

  1. Open Instagram. If you are already logged in to Instagram, this will take you to the home page of your Instagram.
    • If you are not already signed in to Instagram, enter your username (or phone number) and password and tap login.
  2. Tap +. This is in the middle at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Tap Library. You should see this option at the bottom left of your screen.
  4. Tap the "Select multiple" icon. This is the rightmost gray circle on the right side of the screen with two overlapping cubes in it.
    • If you don't see this option, you may need to update your app.
  5. Tap each photo you want to upload. You can select up to ten photos.
  6. Tap Next. This is at the top right of the screen.
  7. Tap a filter if you want to add one. If you do not choose a filter, your photos will not be adjusted. The filters are at the bottom of your screen.
    • If you select one filter, you apply it to all your photos in this group.
  8. Tap Next. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
  9. Tap Share. This option is at the top right of the screen. When you do this, all your photos will be shared on Instagram at the same time. You can view them by swiping left or right on the displayed photo to scroll through the group.

Method 2 of 2: Using the Instagram Layout app

  1. Open Instagram. If you are already logged in to Instagram, your Instagram homepage will open.
    • If you are not logged in to Instagram, enter your username (or phone number) and password and tap login.
  2. Tap +. It's in the bottom center of your screen.
  3. Tap Library. You should see this option at the bottom left of your screen.
  4. Tap the "Layout" icon. This is the middle option in the group of three icons that are in the middle right of your screen. By tapping this icon you open Layout.
    • If you don't have Layout yet, tap Get Layout at the bottom of the screen when prompted. Doing this will take you to Layout's page in the App Store where you can download it.
  5. Tap each photo you want to use. You can select up to nine photos in Layout.
    • If this is your first time using Layout, tap OK when prompted to allow Layout to access your phone's camera roll.
  6. Tap a layout type. You will see these options at the top of the page.
    • Layout types include displaying photos side-by-side, overlaid, or several other options.
  7. Tap and drag individual photos to move them. Doing this will display the portion of the photo in a layout frame.
  8. Tap and drag the blue divider. This will resize one photo while adjusting the other photo (s) proportionally.
    • Depending on the number of photos you have chosen, you can have one or more dividing lines.
  9. Edit your photos. You have several options at the bottom of the Layout screen:
    • Replace - Replace the photo currently displayed with a blue outline with another photo from your Camera Roll.
