Do you think only boys can be spies? Just because it only sells cool gadgets for boys doesn't mean you can't be a spy girl! Read this article to learn how to become a spy!

1. Buy a mini notebook. Choose a color that you like. The booklet should measure approximately 4 to 8 centimeters. Buy some stickers and stick them on the cover. Don't write something like "My Spy Clues" or "My Spy Notes" on the cover, this is the biggest mistake you can make! Instead, you can write down "Homework Notes" or something boring that people won't think about, such as "Notes on the Creation of Garlic Day".
2. Have some friends join you. It's more fun to have a small group of four to six people than a large group of five to ten. Make sure they all have the correct supplies.
3. Choose your group of friends carefully. Don't trust friends who interact with a person you don't like. They may be able to pass information on to the enemy, and you never want that to happen. There could be consequences.
4. Collect some pencils and pens. Bring some extra lead if you're using a mechanical pencil. Bring some erasers and sharpeners.
5. Have a secret bag. This one doesn't have to be much bigger than a normal bag, but it should have some pockets in which to hide things.
6. Create a code. For example, assign letters to numbers: A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, and so on.
7. Make invisible ink. Grab some lemon juice and put it in a bottle to use as an ink. Heat the paper gently, so you don't burn it, to activate the "ink".
8. Meet during the break. You can also bring your group together in a secret place in your house after school.
9. Have a home base for espionage activities. This can be your room or a clubhouse. You can even build your own secret spy fortress!
   • You can use anything, even a closet, if it has some space. Try to keep it a secret place.
10. Hide your notes and notebooks! Hide them in a locked safe or in a place where no one will find them "just like that". Make sure to cover your "tracks" when you put away or retrieve your spy notebooks. So make sure that no one sees you so you won't look suspicious.
11. Create a mission record. You need to know what your fellow spies do and how they do those things.
12. Dress to blend in with your surroundings. Use camouflage!
13. Determine your rank and the ranks of your fellow spies. For example, titles can be "Leader", "Smarty", "Sniper", and "Distractor".
14. Determine your group's missions. For example, the best missions could be finding out about your parents' friends or learning about suspicious things at school.
15. Have a good explanation for everything. This requires a lot of practice, resourcefulness, preparation and rehearsal.
16. Be very careful about the things you tell your friends. They could be double agents, relaying information to the enemy.

• If you ever feel threatened, tell a trusted adult.
• Make sure you never spy on someone you don't know.
• Work alone. Be a solo spy if that suits your style.
• If you have to, pretend you're on the enemy's side. However, do not deceive him or her, and do not include the enemy in your plans.
• Hide your important belongings where no one would expect to be there.
• Try to wear clothes that suit your environment. Wear black clothes at night for espionage.
• Try to behave normally around others. You never know who you can and who you cannot trust.
• If you are seen, try to hide your face to keep your identity a secret.
• Add some snacks to your bag.
• Always be careful about who you are spying on, and know that others may not appreciate being spied on.
• Learn some gymnastics or fighting techniques so that you will be prepared in the event of an attack.
• Instead of putting it in a jar in a ballpoint pen, put the lemon juice in. Put the lemon juice in an empty ink refill. Now you have a pen with invisible ink!
