This wikiHow teaches you how to add a poll to your Facebook event with an iPhone or iPad.

To step

1. Open Facebook on your iPhone or iPad. This is the blue icon with a white “f” in it. You will usually find the app on the home screen.
2. Tap the menu ≡. This button can be found in the lower right corner of the screen.
3. Tap on Events.
4. Tap on Hosting. This is indicated in the white bar at the top of the screen.
5. Tap the event. This will open the page with further information about the event.
6. Tap the box Write something .... This is almost at the top of the event. A pop-up menu expands at the bottom of the screen.
7. Tap on Post in event. This is at the bottom of the list. This will take you to a new message screen with several options on the bottom half.
8. Swipe up on the menu. This is at the bottom of the screen (eg Camera, GIF, photo / video). This expands additional post options.
9. Scroll down and tap Poll. This is at the bottom of the menu. Look for the green circle with three vertical lines in it.
10. Type your question in the “Ask a question” box. This is the question you ask the invitees to answer.
11. Type each possible voting option in its own options box. These are the boxes labeled "Option 1", "Option 2", etc.
12. Select an option from the "End Poll" drop-down menu. This is under the poll options. This way you can indicate when the poll ends.
    • If you don't want the poll to end, select Never in the menu.
13. Tap on Place. It's in the top right corner of the screen. This will place the poll on the event page. Invitees can view and vote for the poll until it expires.
