This wikiHow teaches you how to remove a Snapchat story from your profile so that other users can no longer see it.
To step
- Open the Snapchat app. This is the white ghost icon with a yellow background.
- If you are not signed in to Snapchat, tap login and your username (or email address) and password.
- Swipe left on the camera screen. This will open your stories page.
- Click on ⋮. This button is located in the top right corner of the screen, to the right of My story.
- Tap a snap you want to delete. Doing this will open the snap.
- Tap the trash can icon. This is at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete. The selected snap has now disappeared from your story!
- If you have multiple images in your story, you need to tap the trash can icon for each image.
Tips
- You can control who can see your story in the Snapchat settings by selecting "View My Story" and then clicking "Custom" in the "Who Can See" section.
- Sometimes it's better to send a Snapchat to a large group of friends instead of sharing it in your story.
- While you can't remove other users' stories from your feed, you can block them to get the same result.
Warnings
- Be careful about the things you put in your story. Users can take a screenshot of your story within 24 hours.
