Part 1 of 3: Making the base of the origami boat

1. Start with a square sheet of paper. If you are using origami paper, there is one side that is shiny and / or decorated - this is the right side. Place the paper right side down.
   • A 15 x 15 cm square is a good size for beginners. If you want to make larger or smaller butterflies, adjust the size of your paper accordingly.
2. Give your butterfly as a gift, or use it as a decoration. Try to make more in different colors and sizes.
