This wikiHow shows you how to view the public information of a Facebook account that has blocked you or that you have blocked yourself. Unfortunately, it is impossible to view a full profile without being logged in to Facebook and you cannot perform these steps with the Facebook app.

Method 1 of 2: Using general methods

1. Ask a mutual friend to show you the blocked profile. Facebook users often add friends without giving it too much thought, which means there is a chance that you and the blocked user have a mutual friend. If possible, explain why you want to view the blocked profile and ask the person to show you the profile.
2. Add the blocked account as a friend with a new Facebook account. Do not forget that you have to set up the account completely differently than your own account if the person in question has blocked your account.
   • If you are the one who blocked the other person, you have more leeway when creating the profile. However, your new profile must look different from the profile you usually use.
3. Unblock the user to view his or her profile. If you are the person who blocked the other person, you can temporarily unblock him or her to view his or her profile.
   • You will have to wait 24 hours before you can block the person again.

Method 2 of 2: Find a blocked Facebook account

1. Make sure you are logged out of Facebook. To do this, click on ▼ in the top right corner of the Facebook website and then choose Log out.
   • You can also open a private browser or open and search a tab in your browser in incognito mode.
2. Click on the address bar. This is the text box at the top of the browser window. By doing this you select the text in the text box.
3. Type [name] facebook. At "name" you enter the first and last name of the person with the blocked account.
   • For example: "Jan Klaassen facebook"
   • If you have the personal Facebook link of the person's profile, you can enter that too.
4. Press ↵ Enter. You will then see a list of Facebook profiles that match your search query.
   • If your search doesn't get the correct results, try adding certain details that you know are on the person's profile (for example, the person's current residence or previous employer).
5. Click on the link of the account you want to view. You will see an abbreviated representation of the profile. You probably won't be able to see the entire profile (unless the entire profile is public), but you will be able to see all the information that the person has made public, such as the profile picture, occupation, and contact information.
   • This is not an ideal method for collecting information about a blocked account, but it can help you determine that the account of someone who you suspect has blocked you still exists.

• Due to Facebook's strict security measures, you may not be able to view the account you are looking for.

• Do not attempt to view the blocked profile if it could be perceived as bullying or harassment.
