The fastest way to open the Terminal in Ubuntu is to use one of the keyboard shortcuts. You can also find the Terminal with the Quick Locator, or add a shortcut to your Starter. In older versions of Ubuntu you can find the Terminal in the "Applications" folder.

Method 1 of 4: Using keyboard shortcuts

  1. Press .Ctrl+Alt+T.. This will open the Terminal.
