It is quite easy to call England if you know the prefix of your country for an international line and the country code for England (44 is the UK code). You also need to know the area code or the code of the telecom operator. If you find out this information, you can call England from any country in the world. 6. 6 Dial the rest of the subscriber's number. This is the person's personal phone number. If you are calling a landline phone, you need to dial 5-7 more digits, and if you are calling a mobile phone, the remaining 4 digits.
   • Telephone numbers in small towns in England are only 5 digits long due to long area codes. But most phone numbers in England are 10 digits long (this does not include the area code).
   • All mobile numbers include 10 digits (including mobile code).
   • For example, if you need to call a landline in London from Russia, dial 8-10-44-20-xxxx-xxxx.
   • To call an Oxford landline from Russia, dial 8-10-44-1865-xxxxxx.
   • To call a mobile phone number, dial something like 8-10-44-74xx-xxxxxx.

1. 1 Don't forget the time difference. In England, universal (Greenwich) time (UTC + 0). For example, the time difference between Moscow and London is 3 hours (UTC + 3). Also keep in mind that daylight saving time is in effect in England from spring to autumn.
