In this article, we will show you how to delete all chats (correspondence) in Snapchat.

Steps

1. 1 Launch the Snapchat app. Tap the white ghost icon on a yellow background.
   • If you are not logged in yet, click Login and then enter your username (or email address) and password.
2. 2 Swipe down from the top of the screen with the camera on. You will be taken to your profile page.
3. 3 Tap ⚙️. You will find this icon in the upper right corner. The settings page will open.
4. 4 Scroll down and tap Clear chat. You will find this option under the "Privacy" section of the settings page.
5. 5 Click Clear All. It's in the upper right corner.
   • You can also tap the X to the right of a contact's name to clear the chat with the selected contact.
6. 6 Tap Clear. This will confirm your actions and all chats will be deleted.
   • Remember that deleting chats will reset bars or best friends.

Tips

• Deleting chats will free up space on your device's memory.

Warnings

• Deleted chats cannot be recovered.
