Ever wanted to become a florist but not sure where to start? Here's how to do it.
Steps
1 Search for flower design schools or courses in your area using your favorite search engine, or better yet, visit your favorite florist and ask if there are any good flower design schools they can recommend.
2 Call the school for admission conditions, tuition fees, start date, and so on.
3 Ask the school if they also offer short creative courses. This is a great way to try your hand at floristry without spending all the money on the full course. 
4 If you decide you still want to do this, contact the school to enroll you in the full course and pay the required amount of money.
5 Study diligently, be creative, and try to build relationships with local florists by visiting them regularly.
6 Once you have completed and received your certification, start visiting florists and submitting your resume. Most schools will try to find you before the end of your course. 
7 Be extraordinary in the interview. Potential employers will ask you to make a composition for them, do not create something ordinary. Be diverse, they'll pay you to get creative to do things for them that other florists can't do.
Tips
- Some institutions will offer to pay tuition in installments rather than require prepayment.
- It is very important to exchange experiences, visit florists and try to make friends with people. Information about the majority of florist jobs is not advertised, but transmitted through friends or in words.
Warnings
- Floristry is not as chic as it seems. There is a lot of cleaning, customer service, long hours of hard work, and a regular paycheck. Consider this seriously before making a choice.
