    • Trunk. Some people change trunks that are longer or denser than the original ones. The denser the barrel of the weapon, the better it is. Do not use a barrel that is too tight if you are using poor quality bullets, as they will get stuck. Most assault rifles are 6.08 mm in diameter from the original barrel. Systema makes 6.03 mm, Star - 6.05 mm, Guarder - 6.04 mm, Prometheus - 6.01 mm, Deepfire - 6.04 mm, MadBull - 6 , 03 mm, "KM" - 6.04 with a special TN coating, which increases the speed by 3 + - m / s, "Dees Custom" - 6.01 mm, "JBU" make aluminum 6.01 mm / 6.03 mm and "PDI" make the best steel at 6.01mm.
    • Spring. The stronger the spring, the higher the expulsion speed of the piston will be. Do not use high power springs with standard internals, as you are more likely to damage the piston when disassembling the weapon. Springs from Guarder and PDI are the best. Springs from Systema crack easily, but Prometheus products are also good, although their "unique" paint quickly wears off, damaging the mechanisms. Most springs other than PDIs are classified in meters per second, so an M100 spring means 100 meters per second.
    • Guide spring. It stops the spring from jumping into the receiver. The Marui machines are equipped with standard plastic guides, but the Guarder, Systema and Prometheus are made of steel. If it has spacers on it, it will increase the muzzle velocity of the bullet, which you can also get with ball bearings, which are said to prevent twisting in the spring when compressed, resulting in better velocity from shot to shot.
    • Cylinder. The cylinder is the area where air is compressed before it enters the barrel. Larger cylinders allow the use of a larger barrel called a cylinder bore. You can also get your hands on Teflon coated cylinders, which will give a slight increase in rate of fire, to my knowledge of about 100 rounds per minute. This part does not need to be updated as most of the implements are already equipped with good cylinders. For an inexpensive pistol, get an Area 1000 Teflon coated barrel. Matching barrel volume to barrel volume is the best way to get the most out of your rig.
    • Cylinder head. Changing this part will either drown out the sound of your machine (if you have a muffled head from Systema or Angel), or it will give a strong air seal. Guarder produces excellent 'O' shaped double ring heads.
    • Air expander. The air nozzle is the part that propels the bullets into the hop-up chamber. It is also needed to seal the airflow from the cylinder head to the bullets, so some have an 'O' shaped inner ring like a Guarder.
    • Piston. The piston compresses the air in the cylinder. In general, this is a flat-toothed device. It is wound back from the motor by gears and then released forward at high speed by a spring, compressing the air in front of it. Therefore, he is under tremendous pressure. Metal pistons are good for semi-automatic rifles, but if they fire fully automatic, they can rip off gears. G&P, Guarder and Deep Fire make good pistons. Prometheus is good in some models. The "Super Core" piston from System (not to be confused with "Systema") is arguably the best of all, but is hard to find outside of Japan.
    • Piston head. The piston head seals the air in the cylinder. They can be both bad and good.The Classic Army and most of the like tend to have excellent piston heads. You can also get silent heads to muffle the rifle and support heads to increase bullet speed. G&P, Systema, Guarder and Prometheus manufacture quality piston heads.
    • Gears. Gears are a very important and expensive part of a rifle. Resist the temptation to buy cheap gears, as you will likely end up paying a lot more to fix the gearbox if they break. If you are upgrading to high power springs or high speed / torque motors then go for steel gears. If you want high rate of fire, you can buy high speed gears from Prometheus, Systema or Guarder. Systema, Guarder and Prometheus also make high torque gears. Most are spiral-shaped, which means the prongs are angled. If you are using these, then you need a half-toothed piston. It is more difficult to mix them correctly. You have 3 gears, a bevel attached to the drive wheel of the engine, a spur in the middle and sector gear attached to a piston.
    • Bushings and bearings. The bushings hold the gears in place and this is what the gears rotate on. If they break, the gears are likely to break. The larger the sleeve, the better. Most weapons come with 6mm plastic sleeves. When upgrading, get metal bushings, and if you want a higher rate of fire or torque, get a new gearbox housing that will accept 7mm or 8mm bushings. Bearings, on the other hand, have small metal balls inside them, which increases the rate of fire even more. 6mm and 7mm bearings will not be able to handle strong springs, while 8mm and 9mm will, thanks to their larger size.
    • Gaskets. Spacers are used to keep the gears aligned and to engage properly. Improper routing will result in increased gear wear or a failed shot.
    • Pusher plate. The pusher pulls the air nozzle back to let the bullet in. If it snaps into place, the weapon will not receive bullets. TM and ANGEL are the best. A Chinese brand called World-Element also makes decent plates at a good price.
    • Selector plate. This part rarely breaks. It can be upgraded for additional electrical stability.
    • Anti-reverse latch. This latch stops the gear from spinning backward and damaging the gun. Systema and Prometheus produce aftermarket versions.
    • Shut-off lever. It stops the gears so you can shoot with the semi-automatic. If it breaks or gets worn out, then you will only shoot with a machine gun.
    • Trigger mechanism. If you shoot too much with full auto, the mechanism may burn out and your weapon will stop firing. Systema and Guarder release aftermarket versions. Keep contacts clean to avoid short circuits.
    • Sector chip. In the original assembly, the assault rifles do not have a chip, but they retain the pusher plates much longer, so that the bullets come in better. They have no negative side effects and do not break.
    • Engine. You can choose high speed or torque. Do not put a very powerful motor in a standard machine, hoping that it will work. You will ruin the piston or gears. Systema Magnum and Turbo are perfect. M120, M160, M170 from G&P are also different.
    • Battery. The higher the voltage, the higher the rate of fire will be. The higher the milliampere-hour (mAh) value, the more bullets can be fired at a time (typically, for a fairly standard pistol, 1 mAh = 1 shot). Intellect, G&P, Sanyo and Elite are very good. Most Chinese rifles are equipped with weak batteries. Do not select batteries with a high capacity, as the voltage may be too high for current settings and may damage component parts. Search online and on airsoft forums for battery tips. 12 volts = INSANE performance. Many machines, even updated ones, cannot cope with such batteries.
    • BUTT.' Most of the stocks can be replaced with tactical stocks.

Method 2 of 2: for a single shot rifle

    • Spring. The stronger the spring, the faster the piston moves forward and the higher the initial velocity of the bullet. Get a very good quality spring. Laylax is made by the best of all.
    • Hop-up camera. Most of the fakes and Chinese machines are equipped with weak cameras. Getting a good camera will greatly improve accuracy. Marui offers one excellent one for the VSR-10.
    • Piston head. The piston head forces air into the barrel, expelling the bullet. For VSR-10 "PDI" and "Laylax" makes good heads.
    • Spring pusher. It stops the spring from jumping out. Most rifles are equipped with plastic pushers. Take a metal one and it will last for a long time.
    • Cylinder. If you find a Teflon or polished cylinder, it will be easier for you to pull the trigger. The Teflon on the cylinder means you don't need to lubricate it.
    • Shutter handle. If you have a large bolt handle, it will be easier for you to cock the rifle. Guarder makes them for the L96 and APS2. PSS10 makes them for VSR-10.
    • Descent whispered. Resist the temptation to buy a cheap escapement sear. If you have a very strong spring, change the sear. He keeps the pistol cocked. If it breaks, then your weapon will not be cocked.
    • Piston sear. It catches the piston and is supported by the trigger sear. Has much less voltage applied to it than the trigger sear.
    • Spring guide stopper. Keeps the cylinder in place. You should also update this part when you increase the muzzle velocity.
    • Trigger mechanism. The best triggers are zero. They require only light pressure and are very durable. Supplied with spring guide stopper, piston sear and trigger sear.

Tips

  • Find a replacement to upgrade your hop-up first. This will increase the consistency of your shots. A barrel with a tight bore should be the second to improve accuracy. Raising the bullet velocity to any of these steps will actually have a bad effect on the performance of the machine. After that, a higher speed can give you more range and of course more power.
  • Purchase all the reinforcements required for a specific spring capacity. In the end, this will save you a lot of money, because you will not have frequent breakdowns due to the heavy load.
