The Amazon Kindle, unfortunately, does not have a feature that allows you to share books with other Kindle users. However, you can share excerpts and book titles through your Facebook and Twitter accounts. If the author allows the sharing of an e-book released for the Kindle platform, it can be “lent” to another Kindle user for two whole weeks. And this article will tell you about both methods.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Share the Book on Social Media

1. 1 Turn on the Kindle or launch the Kindle app from another tablet or smartphone.
2. 2 Open the “Settings” menu. The corresponding icon can be found at the bottom.
3. 3Scroll to the “Social Networks” tab.
4. 4 Click on the “Facebook” or “Twitter” link to link the appropriate account to your Kindle. Click “Done” to save your changes.
5. 5 When you want to share a book, select a paragraph and press the Down button. Leave some comment about the copied section, then select “Save & Share” - this option will be at the very end of the list of functions related to comments.

Method 2 of 2: Borrowing a Book

1. 1 Make sure the book is shareable. To do this, look just below “Product Details” and read what is written there. But to do this, you need to click on the book to see the data associated with it, and if, among other things, there is a line “Lending Enabled” there, then you should know - the book can be shared!
2. 2Click on the “Actions” menu and select “Loan this title”.
3. 3Fill in your details and the details of the friend to whom you want to lend the book in the appropriate form.
4. 4 Click on “Send now” to start transferring the book. Your friend will have 14 days to read this book.
